Automatic Win
Select an opponent, then hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press X at the confirmation screen (the last screen before the fight). Instead of fighting your opponent, the screen will turn black and display the message "Now Loading". Press X to return to the profile screen and win the bout without actually fighting.

Change Attributes
Press Start + Select during game play to change your boxer's attributes.

Hidden Fighters
Successfully use a single boxer to defeat all the hidden fighters (Jackal, Dragon, John Summers, Gonzo, and Panther) when challenged. Save that boxer, then enter exhibition mode. Press Triangle to display the load character screen. Press Triangle to exit the screen without loading. Jackal, Dragon, John Summers, Gonzo, and Panther will now be selectable.

How to get Nana in your party
To get Nana, you must defeat Mission 5 (Nordillian Assault). Then when Bastion and his crew discuss the matter at the Castle, a messenger from the Muspel Nation will arrive and ask Bastion to meet with Duke Radcot. Two options will appear:

1. Actually , Zeira, I'll meet with him, and etc.
2. "Can't remember the text", but it don't matter.

Pick the first one. Then you'll be given another choice, choose: Yes. Tell him that you will depart soon. Now your onto M6, during the battle let Bastion be deafeted and you will be held captive. Afterwile Nana arrives and she tells you that she has secret passage way out of the fortress. After some chit-chat your onto Mission 9: Desert Escape. Beat this battle, and the next and the next assault. Then when after Mission 13: Kaidul's Revolt, Galvas will ask you about helping Thomson, Bastion will agree. Finally a messanger will come and say the scouts have sighted the Bahamut ATAC and it's headed for the castle. Guess who's inside? Right nana. Now you have control of a power ATAC, Nana is at Level 6, so you can mold her into whatever you want.

Gain Levels Quickly in Chapter 2
In the battle of the castle ruins in Chapter two (before the fight with Magnus and after the ambush at the swamp), there will be two healing circles and two elevators. First, stock everyone up with Mage Oil before going into the battle. When you enter the fight, kill all the monsters in the level, but don't go anywhere near the temple!

Instead, have Sara stand on one of the circles and begin casting "Mystic Shield" on herself over and over. It takes six casts to raise one level. Raise her to level 49 (easier said then done!), then have Huxley stand on the cirlce beside Sara and cast Mystic Shield on her. He will jump up to level 46 or so. Do it a few times more to get to level 49. As for the people who can't cast it, have them use the Mage Oils, it works just as well.

Important: Do NOT do this trick with Ash, or you will encounter problems later on in the game!



Vandalier
To have Ash become Vandalier, you must find six keys. These will transport you to a mystic battle field. To be transported, equip Ash with a key. Enter the Dojo then leave, you will be asked if you want to be transfromed, choose it. You must get the prisms in the treasure chests to become Vandalier.

Nova Key
After killing the Death Ant in the dunes, talk to the woman in the tavern and she will give you the Nova Key.

Earth Key
Talk to the young man in the tavern at Yuzu. He tells you that he dropped a weird fruit in a plus sign bog. Pick it up and give it to him. You will then recieve the Earth Key.

Mana Key
At the Prison Fortress, search the ground neat the gate. You will see a small crater, that is where the Mana Key is.

Chaos Key
To get the Chaos Key, you need three items they are the Macroman, Tarot Card, and the Ramen. The Macroman is found in the NW corner of Ygdra Canaon. The Tarot Card is found at Basil Gate in the SE corner, there is an X made of grass. The Ramen is in the grate on the front car on The Magical Train. Go to Kerachi Village, go to the tavern and talk to the collector.

Logos Key
After saving Leena in the Tsukue Plains, return to Frontier Village. Talk to the old man in the Tavern. You will learn that the is something in the center of the lava pond. Go to Smoking Bones Cave, search the center near the Salamander with a flying character. That is where the Logos Key is.



Heaven Key
With all five keys, talk to the wierd man in Glasgow City. He will give you the Heaven Key.

With all of the prisms, go to the Dojo, the Dojo Master will advance Ash to the class of Vandalier. Now you can see the true ending.



Tip
Do not go to the mystic battlefields right away. Let your team level up and have more people. This will make the battles easier.

Then you must earn experience with him/her in the 1p Battle. As soon as you earn enough power, life and EX gauge, the new options and pics are going to be unlocked (some pictures come first, then the EX option, more pictures and DX option, in this order).

Play as Dark Gallon
To play as Dark Gallon, in the character select screen, go to Gallon icon, hold "select" and press 2 punch buttons at same time. Dark Gallon will appear flashing.

Marionette acts similarly to Shadow. Instead of taking over the loser's body, Marionette assimilates the body of the next challenger.

To play as Shadow, in the character select screen, go to the ? simbol and press "select" five times, holding it in the last time. Then press any button. A random character will be selected and Shadow will be behind him.

In every round, Shadow changes from the winner to the loser, who will be used in the next fight.

Fast Level Up
There are three items in this game that will allow you to gain levels at an amazing rate.

Learning Ring: Increases EXP by 30%.
Coin of Fortune: Increases EXP by 50%.
Book of Refining Gold: Turns each Monster into at least 10 Mystic Gems.

So, from this you can see that if you have a character equipped with 2 Learning Rings and a Coin of Fortune they will be getting roughly double the rate of experience that everyone else is. This will allow you to get a Character like Valkyrie to the high levels up fast.



Unlimited Experience Points
When you get to the arkadian ruins you will come across a room that traps you inside until you defeat the Brackish Muck creatures and the Rib Foragers/Necrophiliacs. After the battle you get 10,000 event XP. The door opens. You may then leave and turn right around again to have the whole scene replay itself. You will only get the event XP once. This was done on normal mode (not sure it works with other modes). At this point you can do the "Switch the Emeralds/Zoe Bracelet to the character about to lvl up manuever". Just enter battle and have your magic-user blast with the Mystic Cross!!! You will often get Exp Crystals and treasure chests. Around 10,000 XP upon each entry to the room. You can max all your characters out.



Hidden Items
Some characters in the game once obtained have special items. some are significant like Arngrim's Dragon Slayer. Some are as useless as Lleweyn's goddess pendant. Here is a list on some that you can obtain:

Arngrim --- Return to his bedroom to obtain the Dragon Slayer
Janus --- Return to his home to receive the raven slayer
Belenus --- Enter Asaka's bedroom to obtain the crushed flower
Mystina --- enter her room to get the Infinity rod
Kashell --- to obtain his sword return to the Camille cemetary.
Badrach --- talk to the little girl in the Camille church to obtain the woven bandana
Yumei --- return to the beach at Hai Lan to get the cerulean lapis

Stronger weapons
This only works in normal and Hard mode. As soon as you access the stage "The Tower of Lezard Valeth" You will be able to find the creation jewel. When eqquiped on Valkyrie, the broken weapons and armor can now be transmuted into the powerful Glance weapons and armor. Top notch gear until you hit Seraphic Gate. It will also make the tome of Everlasting life into an ice sword, capable of obliterating all fire based opponents in one hit.

Extra Human Class Experience for Weapons
Right after the Minotaur battle in the Wine Cellar, you can use a training dummy to practice your chain combos. This dummy counts as human experience on your weapons, so you can use it to built up that affinity.

Weapon and shield combinations
Combine two Hangane Dubble-Blades to get a Hangane Halberd (Weapon)
Combine two Nodachis to get a Rune Blade (Weapon)
Combine two Khopeshes to get a Wakizashi (Weapon)

Get Holy Win
The last Boss has a weapon called the Holy Win, that is in the shape of the "Rood". You also can get this weapon. During a replay game, enter the Iron Maiden and defeat Asura on the third floor. Next, go back down the Iron Maiden until you get to the door to the second floor. Now, use magic or Break Arts to lower your HP to below 150. Then, enter the second floor. You have new enemies to face, so be ready. When you get to the room that takes you to the third floor, you will see an enemy holding the weapon. Kill him and you may get it. If not, go to the third floor and back to try again. Remember to keep your HP under 150 and use Break Arts as needed.

Combining equipment
Combine Fluted armour with Scale armour to get Hoplite armour. Then combine this with another Hoplite armour to get Jazeraint armour. Finally, combine this with another Jazeraint armour to get the ultimate armour, Dread armour.

Get the Dread Armor
To get Dread (Armor of all types, it's the best) you must combine two pieces of Jazzerjaint armor. I suggest doing all of your combining in the work shop "Godhands." You can combine everytype of material.

Get the Hand of Light
To get the Best weapon in the game, The Hand of Light (the great mace that the minitours carry) Go to where the human dummy is in the wine cellar. The door behind it will take you to the minitour zombie. Attack the Right Arm (the arm it is holding the handle of the weapon in). It will take you a long time to gain this incredible weapon. After killing the Zombie minitour walk out and teleport to the temple of kilita, where there is a minitour lord. Keep at this until you have the Hand of Light.

Get the Excalibur
To get the weapon Excalibur, (holy win, spiral hilt, one arturos gem and a beryl blackpearl) you must first finish your time attacks. All of the time attacks are located in the keep, right before the iron maiden.

Maximize Attribute Elixers
There are two ways of getting the most out of your Attribute Elixers. One is to wait until you get to a save point. Save your game, then use the elixer. If you don't get a high gain, simply reload and try again. As this can take a long time, another way is to save them until your risk is at max. Exit battle mode and use them. Since this is when the computer considers you most vulnerable, it greatly increases your chances of getting high attribute gains.

To get the rood inverse
To get the rood inverse you have to once beat the game, after you have done this you will be able to go through any door locked with the rood inverse. It will simply say "The Blood Sin on Ashley's back burns".

Hand of light
Instead of going back and forth to the minotaur sombie and minotaur lord, just go to the time attacks (near the warriors rest, or Keane's workshop). There you can fight the original minotaur, and after a while you will recieve the hand of light. I have done this 2-4 successful times.

Unlimited Health
On the main menu push Up, Down, Left, Right, X, L2(3). You should hear a voice say Roit.

Hints
Practice, practice, practice. Your controller is your instrument. You have to have the buttons memorized and be able to read the symbols displayed on the screen as though they were a musical score.

If you feel as though you're tanking halfway through a level, don't give up. The easier riffs will usually repeat later on, and you may be able to recover enough points to clear the level.

For very rapid runs of notes, rather than trying to press the gamepad buttons individually, slide your thumb across them. In this way, you can go from note to note without having to lift your thumb off the controller.

When you improvise, be sure that the last note you hit is right on the beat, or you may not get any points for that turn. Try to hit as many buttons as you can as quickly as you can to get the most points. Most of the time you don't even need to pay attention to the symbols on the screen as long as you keep up a decent rhythm and pace.

Use the final level to really cut loose. It's the only one that really gives you enough time between measures to jam properly, and the riffs it gives you to play along with are so minimal that you'll need to supplement them to get a decent score.

Unlock All Secret Characters/Levels
For every level you beat in Tournament, you will unlock a secret Deathmatch-only level. Beat the complete game once and you'll unlock all the secret characters: Sweet Tooth, Moon Buggy, Super Thumper, Super Axel, Super Auger, Super Slam, RC Car, Minion, and Crusher.



Play as all the bosses
Enter any of these passwords at the password screen:

Invincibility
Go to the options menu and go to "password" and enter Down, Left, L1, Left, Right. You should hear sweet tooth's laugh to confirm.

CPU cars don't get health pickups
Go to the password screen in options and type in L1, Left, Right, Circle, Right as your password.

Tips for beating Sweettooth
First of all never engage Sweetooth when he is facing you because he will use his special every time. You can defeat Sweetooth easily by using proximity mines inside the Haunted House. And stay on the move at all times. If you get caught in one of Sweettooth's specials then use your shield.

The game contains an alternate character selection screen picture of Flower Power, featuring a revealing view of her very short leather skirt. Click here to view the normal and alternate screens as well as a complete composite.

Infinite specials
While in the menu screen go to password and then press L1, L1, R1, R1, R1.

Ultimate lives
At the menu screen where you can put a password, new game, or options you must go to password and put in this password: L1, Square, X, R1, Start.

Massive force
Go to menu screen where you can put in a password and put in this password: Triangle, Circle, Down, Left, up.

Unlimited ammo
Go to the menu screen where you can put in a password and put in this password: Triangle, Circle, Up, Right, Down.

No Health Pickups
Enter this code at the password screen: L1, R1, L1, R1, R1. Now the cpu should ignore the health pickups.

Secret Warehouse level
At the password screen press Square, Square, Square, Left, Left.

Homing rain missiles
On the main menu go to passwords and enter Up, Down, Up, Down, Up. You should hear a sound to confirm that you entered the cheat correctly. Now go and start a game, and select rain missile and Fire at someone.

Die in Air
First you have to have infinite life and weapons and be at the London level. Choose your remotes and keep using them when they are underneath you. If you get high enough then you will die and it will say you fell to death.

Eternal health
Press and hold Square, Circle, L1, and R1. Then press Up, Down, Left, Right, Right, Left, Down, Up and when you know that it is in is when you look at the top of the screen and it will say eternal health for just a sec.

Mega Guns
Hold R2, Up, Down, Left, Right, Right, Left, Down, Up.

Invincibility & Infinite Weapons
Hold L1, L2, R1, R2 then press Up, Down, Left, Right, Right, Left, Down, Up during game play, not while paused. This is for the the Standard controller setting.

No Radar
While playing, press Select and Left together to make the radar dissappear.

Fire Vanisher
This cheat will work for all Twisted Metal games except Twisted Metal 1. First you have to be set on fire. As most of you know when you are on fire it takes away some of your life so when on fire, press your Turbos and the fire should vanish. This is a highly easy cheat.

Cheats
To fight Minion at the last stage with the other three people at the same time = Press TRIANGLE, X, O, SQUARE, TRIANGLE in the password screen.

One Full Hidden Recharge = At the Freeway level go straight and take the left in the first tunnel, to your left you will see a white car, blow it up with your machine guns and stand on it and in a couple of seconds, BANG you are fully recharged!

At the Rooftop Level drive backwards from a distance into the pyramid with spectre and your inside.



Cheat
After you have selected your guy, go to "options" then "password". Punch in Square, Triangle, Circle, Square, Square. Then you will be in the arena with about 5 or 6 guys.



Extra Cars
To get Sweettooth, Go to the car selection screen in a single player tournament and enter the following code: Up, L1, Trangle, Right.

To get Minion,do the same as the fisrt one and enter the following code: L1, Up, Down, Left.

Unlimited Ammo: During a match, hold the L and the R buttons then press, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Down, Up.

Debug Mode
To access debug mode start a race in any mode and pause the game. As the game is paused, press START and SELECT simultaneously.

Enter these cheats at the player name screen. If they only have three letters put a space in the front. For example, enter your name as " BOA" for all boats.)
