Secret Stage at Honda's Bathouse

Morrigan's most powerful special
Morrigan's most powerful special attack is called Eternal Slumber. You can execute this cheat by pressing Square, Circle, <-, Triangle, R2. This attack will shoot out a heart that moves towards the target at a rather slow speed, so use it wisely. It cannot be blocked and can only dodged by jumping over. Note: This attack requires 3 special gauges and cannot be execute in beginner mode because it only allows 2 special gauges.

Use Madden Cards indefinitely
You must have a profile made and loaded. Do the training mode in the Coaches Corner. Here, you earn "tokens", used a points. Whenever you complete a certain play, you earn tokens. Do every play that the game gives you. Try to do them correctly so you can earn as many tokens a possible. When you have completed each play, you can earn no more tokens. Save your stats in the profile. Then, go to the Madden Card section. In this section, make the selection under the Challenge Status section (should be in the middle). In here you can buy cards, just like baseball trading cards. Cards are bought in packs. Every card has a player (boosts stats by certain percent), veteran player that you can sign to your roster, Superbowl team (for example, the 1999 Rams), created team, new stadium, cheerleader cards, and cheat cards. The cheat cards are cheats, just like in Madden 2000 or 2001 (and some new cheats). You can buy the cards with the tokens you have just earned. Almost every card can normally only be used once. Save the profile after you have all the cards you want. You can activate all the cards you want, and after the game, most of them will be gone. However they will only remain gone if you save your profile after the game. First, save the game, but do not save the profile. Restart the game. Start the game again and load the profile. Then, select Madden Cards: Activate. If done correctly, all of your cards should be back to the amount that they were. Do this after every game and you should be able to use the cheats indefinitely.

Hint
This isn't so much a cheat, but it obviously was an oversight in Madden 2000. An easy way to build up a team in Franchise mode, is to first, free up a lot of cap room. Second, at the end of the season, with all of your free cap room, when it's time to sign free agents, sign as many young players (22-26yrs) as you can afford, or fit on your team. Then with a crop of young players, trade them to other teams for their draft picks. Many times if you package 2 rookies with one of your lower round draft picks, you can trade them for another teams first round pick. Do this until you end up with (if you're good) 7 first round picks. Every few years, there is an exceptional draft, where there are players in every position in the high 80's. Then sign them to the longest contact you can, and in 2-3 yrs they will be in the high 90's. Everyone you don't or can't trade, simply release them, or many times keep them. This is a good way to keep those dynasties alive.

Dance to the endzone
Press Triangle when on a breakaway for a touchdown to have your player dance to the endzone.

Pump up the crowd
Press R2 when you are the home team playing on defense and the player selection icon is on a linebacker or defensive back. The player will raise his hands up and the crowd's noise level will increase.

Franchise mode trades
In franchise mode, trade for Kyle Brady TE for Jacksonville Jaguars. Brady will trade to or for just about anybody including draft picks. Make sure to include someone to trade for when getting Brady back. The best trade for Brady is Seattle OLB Chad Brown, CB Shawn Springs, and to the Vikings for RB Rod Smith, OG R. Mcdaniel. Also try trading Brady to Dallas for OG Larry Allen, SS Darren Woodsen. Remember Brady is expensive.

Build a good team
If you go to franchise mode and use 3 users. You can steal their 1st round picks every year until they get fired. You can also take all their good players. And in a few seasons you will have a superbowl team.

Quarterback Pass After Touchdown
First off, you have to have picked a passing play to do this. Any passing play will work. When you run into the endzone for a TD as the QB only, press X to bring up the passing play that you originally called but never went through with. Now press any corresponding button to pass the ball to the corresponding player after the play is done. You must do this before the QB drops the ball and the play stats come up. The chances of the receiver catching the pass are slim to none. If the passing menu does not come up after pressing X once, press it again because the QB may still be speed bursting after the first pres of the X button.

How to do a high step
To do a high step start a game and when you are running press and hold Up, L2, Triangle and Right.
Note: you must have no body near you to do this move.

Beating the Mushroom Boss
Make sure you're at level 16 of higher. Before going in to battle, have Alex and Luna seperated. This helps against the Mushroom's 1-person attack. When the battle starts, have Alex use Vigor. Have Luna use the song that makes people stronger on Alex. Every turn, have Alex use his strongest magic and have Luna repeatedly use her Tranquility song to heal. This guy's a toughie.

Beating the Slime Boss
Get all of your characters to at least level 11 and Alex at level 12. Have Alex use Vigor and his strength will go up about 22 points on average. Have Luna use Cascade Song on Alex and his strength will go up about 15 points. Have Ramus attack always. Have Nash use Thunder Bomb every turn. Have Alex use Sword Dance. With all the power-ups he should now be doing about 250 points of damage to the slime monster. Have Luna heal whenever needed. For good measure have Luna use Cascade song on Ramus for a little extra damage.

Hidden Game
Insert the "Making of Lunar" CD-ROM in your PlayStation then turn it on. When you see a man drawing a picture, right at the beginning, press: Up, Down, Left, Right, Triangle, and Start. Then you should be at a screen that reads "Lords of Lunar", click on the "Start the Game" button and play. This game is a really freaky pong twist.
